I was born in Austria and had the privilege of studying Art and Textile Art at the renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg, gaining a master’s degree of "Mag. Art." with honours. Following my studies, I embarked on an exciting journey that took me to Hong Kong, and eventually, in 1997, I made my way to England and settled in Guildford, where I have my my studio.

Throughout my artistic career, I have always been fascinated by different creative techniques, the interplay of colours, and the diverse range of materials available to me, the common thread that connects all of my works. However, it was through the intricate craft of bead crochet that I discovered a niche that was relatively unknown to many. An array of fascinating materials - shells, vibrant coloured wood, 1920s facetted cut glass beads, antique metal beads, as well as delicate pearls and gemstones, found their way into my crocheted works. Soon, I incorporated handmade silver vessels into this play of contrasts in addition to found objects that add a narrative dimension.

I draw inspiration from the materials themselves, from antique lithographies of botanical studies and the world of underwater creatures, and lately, from myths and legends that bring a touch of magic and storytelling to my jewellery. Each piece I create is unique, shaped by evolving ideas and the act of making itself. I strive to create works that are subtle statements, wearable and give joy.
